                                          Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition Image

Are your picture smocking results less than desired? Do you avoid picture smocking because you just can't seem to 'get it right', or that it seems like too much work? Have no fear! This class will teach you easy tips so that your picture smocking is picture-perfect and painless. Picture smocking consists of stacking rows of cable stitched in mirror image so that a desired shape is formed. Getting each stitch and strand of floss to lie correctly, and the rows to look straight, can be achieved with the techniques taught in this class.  The teacher will explain the theory behind stacked cables, so the student can tackle more intricate designs. Students will stitch stacked cable hearts on pleated batiste. The insert can be used in a number of finished projects.
