Picture smocking without stacked cables - Yea! Learn to stitch the various segments of the smocking design "Making Waves." Students stitch the design onto the pleated insert in the kit. The smocked piece can then be used for a garment or a pillow top. This design includes stand-alone smocked motifs, curved backsmocking, and a very unique wave motif. Optional variations will also be discussed. Students can bring a fish or ocean fabric and matching floss to create their own color scheme. |
