Daygown in a Jiffy

Kit Contents: Class notes, including step-by-step instructions, pattern, and two smocking designs

Materials needed by each student: 1½ yards fabric (light-colored batiste or cotton), matching thread, 2 colors of floss, sewing machine, pleater, dowel, fabric scissors, hand sewing needle, smocking needle, measuring tape, washable marker, pins, hem gauge, heavy duty electrical extension cord.
Classroom equipment needed: Display table, irons, ironing boards, spray starch. Optional: sergers
Recommended Class Size: 20 students maximum
